Caring for Footwear
Nubuck, Rough-out and Suede
Clean
- Brush off with a soft, bristled brush
- Brush gently in the direction of the nap to avoid damage
- Use a damp cloth to carefully wipe off dirt, let boots air dry
- A suede eraser helps with hard-to-remove stains and can be great for spot cleaning
Condition
- Use a high-quality leather conditioner every few months, depending on wear.
Protect
- Apply a light coat of water and stain protectant. For best results, a second application is recommended.
Storing Your Boots
- Proper storage is important to ensure your boots will last for years to come.
- It's best to store your boots upright, in a cool, dry location.
- We recommend stuffing boots with tissue or inserting a shoe tree to maintain their shape.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, moisture and heat.
