There’s something special happening with Ariat in the Lone Star state. We are excited to announce our newest brand shop opens this winter in Fort Worth.

We love Texas through and through, so to celebrate our new space in the Fort Worth Stockyards, we’re sharing our favorite parts of town. From where to sip a Sarsaparilla to where to shop for the best western boots, we’ve rounded up our very own local guide to Dallas-Fort Worth. We recently met up with the Dallasites101 to spend a fun-filled day in Fort Worth and show them around our new Brand Shop. We hope to see you there!

Fort Worth Stockyards

No visit to Fort Worth is complete without stopping at the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. This buzzy area is home to shops, restaurants, hotels and entertainment the whole family can enjoy. Sip on an old-fashioned Sarsaparilla while watching the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive for an authentic glimpse into the spirit of the American West.

Find Your Ariat Fit

Ariat has been a fan favorite in Texas ever since launched with revolutionary athletic shoe technology in 1993 as the New Breed of Boot, and we’re excited to open our own space at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Come check out a wide range of Ariat footwear, apparel, and accessories as well as casual wear for the entire family (including pets). Our store also features a longhorn driftwood sculpture with western performance embellishments to commemorate the tradition of rodeo.

Once you visit our new Brand Shop, head over to some of our local retailers to find additional Ariat gear. We are proud to partner with some fantastic local retailers in and around DFW that showcase our best Ariat products. Situated within the Stockyards is Texas-based cowboy outfitter Cavender’s, which offers a wide selection of Ariat clothing, boots, and more. Head over to to Boot Barn in Alliance Town Center just north of the Stockyards to find your perfect boots and more Ariat favorites. And if you’re out shopping for the ranch, stop by Atwood’s in northwest Fort Worth for a great selection of Ariat gear as well as hardware, equipment and farm/pet supplies.

Just outside of Fort Worth you will find National Roper’s Supply (NRS) in Decatur. This one-stop Western store and tack shop that has been selling saddles and roping gear since 1989. Teskey’s Saddle Shop is another great spot for your favorite Ariat clothing, saddles, bits and spurs.

Kimbell Art Museum

Here at Ariat, we’re all for family fun. If you’re looking for a spot to please any generation, head to the Kimbell Art Museum in downtown Fort Worth. Designed by architect Louis Kahn in 1972, the Kimbell Art Museum is not only iconic in the modern architecture world, but also home to an extensive collection of African, Asian, Ancient American and European art. The Kimbell Art Museum also offers film events, evening lectures, and workshops for children.

Joe T. Garcia’s

There is a plethora of incredible restaurants throughout DFW, but perhaps one of our favorites is Joe T. Garcia’s, situated right near the Stockyards. This iconic family-owned Tex-Mex restaurant has been a Fort Worth institution since 1935 and only offers a handful of original menu choices. The spacious patio offers plenty of outdoor seating and beautiful sprawling gardens that used to be home to the Garcia family. Just a heads up – the establishment is cash only, but there are ATMs onsite in case you didn’t plan ahead.

Hotel Drover

Self-described as “inspired by the pioneering spirit of the West,” Hotel Drover is the newest hotel in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Named after cowboys (or drovers) who drove cattle to the market, the Western-style hotel offers true Texas hospitality and luxe amenities in the heart of the historic Stockyard district.

Second Rodeo Brewing

Craft beer aficionados and music lovers alike will love this new brew pub and music hall in the Stockyards. Second Rodeo Brewing is the pride and joy of Jason Boso, the brains behind some of DFW’s most celebrated spots: Truck Yard and Twisted Root Burger Co. Taste your way through the extensive beer list, or chow down on some Texas Cherry Cola wings. Whatever you choose, Second Rodeo Brewing is the perfect place for a midday shopping pit stop.
