I bot these boots six weeks ago believing they would be tough waterproof work boots. First snow, about two inches, I found out they are waterproof only to the ankle, if snow gets kicked up to the shaft, your feet are going to get wet. I’ve also found that the upper sole leather is not very tough as they deep stuff very easily. I’m hoping that they don’t lose their water proofing in that area. I feel that it is false advertising to say that boots are waterproof when they are only particially so. Kinda like saying gloves are insulated when only the finger tips are. I own at least five pair of boots, some Ariat, some Justin. This is my most expensive pair. Love the fit, wish they were as advertised, tough and waterproof.
