How you got started in your event: My dad was a great steer wrestler when he was younger and he is the one who got me started!

Proudest career moment: Winning the second round at the 2013 NFR
Tell us about your first time Steer Wrestling: It was in a little tiny indoor barn and I was riding one of my dad’s head horses. I flipped end over end with the steer!
You ride because: : I ride because it’s what I love to do. I am very fortunate to have a family that supports my rodeo career so much. My dad is such a great hand and always has great horses around and my mom supports me endlessly all the way, she drove all over NV taking me to high school rodeos when I was younger, and still to this day she comes to as many as my rodeos as she can to cheer me on.
If you weren’t a professional Steer Wrestler, you would be a: I would like to be a heli-ski guide in the winter and work in Alaska in the summer doing something with the outdoors.
Favorite mentor or idol growing up: I have always looked up to Cody Ohl & Luke Branquinho because they are winners and I look up to people like them because winning is the main thing and that is what is fun to me; winning!
Favorite place to travel on tour: : I like going to the Pendleton Roundup the most, I’ve always had pretty good luck there too!
Name one fun fact that people don’t know about you: I like to cook!
Favorite way to unwind outside of rodeo: Riding and roping with my dad or going snowmobiling with my pals
