WESTERN SPORTS FOUNDATION
Formerly known as the Rider Relief Fund, founded in 1998 following Jerome Davis’ career-ending fall and injury while bull riding, Western Sports Foundation continues to attract and receive philanthropic support from thousands of friends, fans, sponsors, and participants in and around all Western lifestyle sports.
Recognizing that emotional and financial health are as important as physical health, Western Sports Foundation focuses on total athlete wellness by providing medical, life counseling and financial resources to meet the needs of injured Western sports athletes and to prepare them for life beyond competition.
Folds of Honor
Since 2007, Folds of Honor has carried forth a singular, noble mission: To provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.
Folds of Honor has awarded approximately 24,500 educational scholarships to family members of military personnel killed or disabled during combat. The scholarships support private tuition, tutoring and educational summer camps for children in kindergarten through 12th grade plus higher-education tuition assistance for spouses and children.
America’s Gold Star Families
The mission of America’s Gold Star Families is to provide honor, hope and healing to those grieving any military loss through active duty service in the United States Armed Forces.
America’s Gold Star Families pays tribute to our fallen heroes who served in the United States Armed Forces and cares for their survivors through programs and services at no cost to the survivors. The organization includes all branches of service representing all conflicts.
The Compton Junior Equestrians (formerly Compton Jr. Posse) was developed to provide inner-city youth with programs that support staying in school and away from drugs and gangs.
Through equestrian activities, participating youth develop responsibility, discipline and self-esteem. The children also learn to set and achieve both academic and career goals.
The Rider’s Closet
Founded by Georgina Bloomberg in 2006, The Rider’s Closet ensures that riding apparel is accessible to scholastic riding programs, pony clubs, equestrian camp programs, equine charities and individual riders in need.
The program serves riders of all ages and at every level of horsemanship by accepting donations of new and gently used boots and clothing sending it out free of charge to equestrians in need around the United States. Ariat has been a proud supporter of The Rider’s Closet since its inception. In 2019, The Rider’s Closet merged with the EQUUS Foundation to further opportunities to benefit horses and equestrians around the country.
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors (JAH4WW) was formed in October of 2009, by NFL Legend Jared Allen to build and remodel injury-specific, accessible and mortgage-free homes for our critically injured United States Military veterans returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Jared was inspired to create JAH4WW upon returning home from a USO trip to US Military Bases in the Middle East, where he was moved by the commitment, dedication, and sacrifices that our soldiers make every day to protect our freedom.
Two Ten Footwear Foundation
Two Ten provides emergency financial assistance, natural disaster recovery, educational scholarships, counseling services and professional development programs that improve the lives and careers of the country’s 330,000 footwear employees and their families.
The only industry-centric foundation in the country, Two Ten brings the footwear community together to support each other during times of crisis and ensure a bright future for the industry’s workforce. Ariat has been a proud partner of the TwoTen Footwear Foundation since 1997.
