Ariat Features In Country Walking

Designed for adventures that take you beyond the beaten track, the Traverse Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot brings Ariat’s renowned performance technology to the world of hiking. Featured in Country Walking’s Winter Footwear Class of 2026, the boot was highlighted as “a well thought out offering for walkers – especially when in adverse conditions.” Its waterproof construction helps keep feet dry, while ATS® technology provides lightweight support across uneven terrain. Shock Shield® technology further enhances comfort by absorbing impact with every step, helping walkers go further with less fatigue.

Built to handle changing conditions underfoot, the Traverse Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot combines a flexible, durable sole with innovative multi-directional lugs designed to provide grip on loose or slippery ground. As Country Walking notes, “the sole is designed to be flexible and to last”, while the heel-lock system helps keep the foot securely in place for added stability. Reinforced ExGuards™ offer further protection against wear, making the boot well suited to the demands of regular outdoor adventures.

Comfort continues mile after mile, with a lightweight FLX Foam™ midsole delivering responsive cushioning alongside an All Day Cushioning insole for lasting support. The supportive mid-height design offers added reassurance on uneven paths, while the removable insole can be cleaned or replaced as needed. Combining considered design with the practical performance needed for challenging conditions, the Traverse Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot is a dependable choice for walkers looking to make the most of every trail.
