Number of years riding: 16 years (7 yrs professional)

Year Ariat Started Sponsoring You: 2014

Career accomplishments to date:

How you got started in your event: : I followed in my dad’s footsteps and just grew up around it

Favorite Ariat product : Ariat boots – I wear lace-ups when I am riding, but I really like the exotic skin boots

Tell us about your first bull ride: I was 9 years old - it felt like a roller coaster ride only scarier and more exciting. That feeling doesn’t go away.

Proudest career moment: My first World Finals in 2008, riding Crosswired for 91.75 points in the Championship round to win the 2011 Built Ford Tough Wichita Kansas event, and making a comeback in 2013 after a knee injury and surgery to qualify for the World Finals and place 14th overall.

You ride because: The rush, the feeling and the fans, I love it.

If you weren’t a professional rider, you would be a: an HHP trainer, a plumber and a team roper champion – I like to stay busy.

Favorite mentor or idol growing up: My dad

Favorite place to travel on tour: Tulsa, Thackerville, Oklahoma City – anywhere in my home state

Name one fun fact that people don’t know about you: As much time as I spend on the road I like to spend time back home with my sister, my parents, Jellybean and my friends whenever I can.

Favorite way to unwind outside of bull riding: riding horses or team roping with my dad and my buddies.

Good luck charm: a buckeye- I carry it in my bag
