Rated 4 out of 5 by from one star shy These boots are great for riding in the arena or yard. They stay securely on your feet with the lace up and are perfect in the stirrup. However, the Crepe sole isslick to walk/hike whenout in thefield, jump off the horse in wet grass or mud and it can feel like a treadmill. Standing long periods of time on concrete they start to hurt, and finally the Crepe sole melts if you cozy next to a fire. I would only wear the Crepe soles in the arena or around the yard, not in the mountains! I love Ariat boots (own 4 pair) using them over the last 6 years, you just need to find the right boot for the job (hope this helped).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Them I bought my first pair of Ariat boots when I was 12! These are the only boots I will ever buy for the rest of my life!!! I was skeptical aboutgettingthisparticular stylebecause the leather looked alottougher than the last pair I had bought. As soon as I slipped my feet in to them I wore them all day long on my 8 hour shift of standing at work. They were like slippers. I don't know your secret but you do something to these boots that require NO BREAK IN TIME!!!! They feel like that cozy pair of slippers the second you put them on! I live in these shoes!! Thanks for another awesome pair of boots!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Live in them! I love my Pro-baby Lacers. I bought them as I have not so great ankles and I wanted that extra support you get from lacers over boots. The elasticin them helps with that aswell. They broke in really quick and Ihaveused my in the yards as well as riding. I do a lot of trade shoes and field days in my job and I wouldnt wear anything else so I dont agree with the other comment from norteoutdoors about standing on concrete. I have converted a number of my friends both horse based and not into these awesome lacers. Highly recommend them you wont be disappointed just make sure you get the right size they need to fit snugg as mine didnt stretch they stayed true to size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sturdy and Short Boots are sturdy and comfortable now that a shoe repair person stitched the top of the tongue to the boot on one side.First time I wore them fora couplehours only, thetonguewrinkled and dug aholein the top ofmy foot. It healed but is still sensitive. I also find the sole does not go easily into the stirrup--too thick and rubbery. Having said all that I do like these boots and I wear them regularly to ride. Now that they are repaired, my only complaint is the thickness and stickiness of the sole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots ever I love these boots, wish they came in different colors, seems 1 color comes out at a time. I have two pairs, the otherone is a deep burgundy color, which Iwear towork, butI would like to purchase anotheronethe same color so that I can wear them to other places other than work, black would be nice too. I love the comfort and stability it gives my feet, due to injuries to my ankle, it has really been giving me the support. Again the comfort is what I like as I'm on my feet 8 hours a day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The second times a bust I loved this boot when it first came out!!!! Now since they changed the style of the tounge the functionality has beenlost. I still have myfirstpairof boots inthe original style. I have huntedin them, ridden inthem, hiked in them and danced in them for more than 4 years. They have lasted longer than the newer style pairs I have had to toss out. The elastic just does not hold up to the daily horse activities. Go back to the original style of ProBaby Lace Up

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent boots I love Ariat boots in general and have several pair, as I only buy Ariat. I have these in black and absolutely love the comfortable fit. Icanwear them allday and be comfortable. I am buyingthe brown onesnext.Would love to see the black come back, because mine won't last forever, although I must say they have lasted several years so far (I don't use them for riding or work but they would be great for both). Keep the good boots coming!
