Customer Service Specialist

We have a vacancy for a Customer Service Specialist who has a passion for customer satisfaction and who has experience working with high-end merchandise. Successful candidates will be responsible for achieving clear department goals and will excel in a fast-paced, multitasked and dynamic team environment. This is an opportunity for a results-driven candidate who can solve problems, drive sales and build strong retailer relationships.  We have a hybrid working policy and this can be discussed further at the interview stage.  The minimum onsite requirement is 3 days per week in our amazing head office in Harwell.

Responsibilities:
•    Reply to order questions about product specification and availability via phone, email and other channels
•    Reply to retailer queries in a friendly, professional, timely and efficient manner at all times
•    Provide guidance across the B2B ordering process when required
•    Address and resolve queries or actions regarding returns shipping, stock allocation, invoicing and delivery
•    Process returns and credits in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved and that process fluency is maintained at all stages
•    Utilise a variety of software programs to resolve customer queries and to manually complete orders when required
•    Perform daily order book administration to ensure orders are shipped in line with customer requirements and identify potential issues with inventory levels
•    Coordinate closely with the Area managers and teams across the business
•    Support colleagues as and when required
•    All other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

•    Experience working under pressure in a high-volume environment while maintaining standards in productivity, quality and service
•    Capacity to multi-task and shift focus as required, with an excellent sense of prioritisation and time-keeping
•    Must be organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with an aptitude for process optimisation
•    Strong interpersonal skills and articulate both in verbal and written communication
•    Proficient user of IT systems, including MS Office.
•    Ability to make sound decisions with a strong sense of urgency
•    Passion for providing exceptional customer service
•    A positive and team-oriented attitude
•    Previous customer service experience in the retail industry will be considered advantageous
•    Ability to establish and build strong communication with other departments and customers
•    Strong in written and spoken English
•    Fluency in any European language will be of great advantage

Demand Planning Assistant

We have a vacancy for a new role at Ariat for a Demand Planning Assistant. The role will include managing all aspects of SKU and system set up to efficiently bring stock into the business ready for onward sales and distribution and supporting the Demand Planning Manager to do so.

As the Demand Planning Assistant some of your duties will include:

Responsible for efficient and timely intake of stock into business
-    Sage style code set up management
-    Ensure system accuracy for future PA dates
-    Proactively report and communicate product intake and delays into business
-    Liaise with 3PL to ensure efficient booking and receipting of stock
-    Assist, where necessary, the Demand Planning manager to ensure all Footwear, Apparel/ Accessory purchase orders are placed with the US team in agreed timeframes.

Responsible for best use of stock across channels
-    Proactively reports and communicates product availability issues and opportunities to the business
-    Optimise stock usage across B2b/ D2C channels, maximising stock availability to sales opportunities/ business requirements.

Support Forecasting
-    Maintain forecasting documents as required
-    Progress own development, maximising on the job training opportunities to understand beginning to end product process.  
-    Push to own designated parts of product range.
-    Participate in calls and build relationships with appropriate US planning partners.

Other
-    Build relationships with US team as appropriate to further key accountabilities.
-    To assist in ad-hoc projects as required.

Area Manager –Germany

We are currently recruiting an Area Manager Germany to focus on this key region for us and to drive our performance within the European business.

Key Accountabilities include:
•    To work effectively with existing accounts
•    To create a network of new accounts with key strategic partners
•    To assisting the VP Sales & Marketing to develop and execute the strategic plan for key accounts within the area
•    To achieve, and strive to exceed, sales and margin targets
•    To provide support to retailers to maintain a strong and effective brand presence including appropriate in store merchandising and online presence
•    To observe the market and feedback to the business all brand relevant and market developments
•    To work closely with colleagues in Marketing and Product teams to create demand and develop the brand
•    To develop and maintain strong working relationships with all internal Ariat personnel
•    To grow the business across all our channels - Equestrian, Western, Country and Work & Safety.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide us with the following:
•    Fluent in professional written and spoken German and English
•    3+ Years Sales Experience
•    Excellent skills including Communication , Interpersonal, Time management, Prioritisation, Organisation and planning, Teamwork, Analytical, Presentation, Customer Service
•    Experience working with retail accounts and key accounts
•    Good understanding of brand building and product marketing
•    Experience of Sports, Country/Equestrian or Fashion industries
•    Country/Equestrian knowledge of advantage
•    Use of analytics to predict trends and develop marketing and merchandising activity
•    Budget management
•    Flexibility to manage extensive travel
•    IT Literacy including MS Office especially Excel
