Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my husband's foot! I bought my husband these boots for Christmas. He loved them. Normally he needs orthodics in his boots and shoes, butnot with these. Hethinkstheyarethe bestboots ever.A couple of days ago he was cutting upfirewood with his chainsaw. He slipped and cut a slice right through the top of this boot. It barely knicked his skin on the top of his foot. He knows that if he had not been wearing these boots, he would have lost his foot and possibly his life. Any other footware he owns would not have protected the way these did. He is heart broken that he ruined his boots but very happy to still have his foot. Thank you for your excellent construction and comfort!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feeling Boot I first ordered this boot in a wide, which was a rookie mistake. Once you wear these boots for the first couple of daysthey tend to break in agood bit. Iexchanged them fora medium width and after a few days they felt amazing. This boot is one of the most comfortable boots I have had in a long time and working in shoe sales I have had the opportunity to try on many different brands and styles. The ATS Max sole on these boots is worth the little bit extra that they cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good styling and comfortable but poor stitching I find these boots run a little big. I usually wear a 10.5 but the 9.5 fit just fine. They felt great after only a couple days of break-in. I work in a machine shop so I'm walking on concrete and metal shavings all day and the soles have held up pretty good. My only complaint is the stitching. About one year after purchase, they started splitting on the outside of the boots, right behind the balls of my feet where the boots bends when I kneel down. If they would reinforce those kinds of stress points I would rate these boots 5 stars all day long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard working boot, 12+ hrs daily I work/live on a family farm. I'm up early and to bed late. I'm in my Ariat Workhog boots 12+ hours a day. Whether caring for goats, chickens, cleaning outstalls, tractor, barn maintenance, cutting firewood, mucking out stalls, installing a new fence line - doesn't matter - the boots are super comfortable, great traction, keep me dry and working all day. No complaints here! Awesome boot! Last pair of Ariats lasted many years and they were NOT work boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Sole Could not believe how fast the rubber sole separated. I walk on grass and some asphalt. Not heavy use. Very disappointed with the soles. Theuppersaregreatand the boot iscomfortable, but the bottom was not upto the standard of the rest of the boot. This was a replacement pair after the sole separated after two weeks on my first pair. this pair took six months so i there was not a whole lot i could do. oh well

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality that I've grown to expect from Ariat Other than fitting a bit larger than I expected right out of the box there are only two things I could complain about... #1 Why is it that NO Western StyleWork Boots comeinBlack anymore? #2 Is there any chanceof getting more cushioning in the heel for those of us who stand on Tile or Concrete all day?I work in Public Safety but not in a postion where I have to wear Combat Boots so Western Boots are my prefered choice... as such I need Black Boots for my uniform and as much cushioning as possible due to standing and working on Tile Covered Concrete floors for 12 hrs a day!!! Other than those small issues... Yet again another wonderful boot from Ariat. Great craftsmanship, Great Details, Very Comfortable right out of the box, and a all round GREAT BOOT!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots work boots I've ever owned I bought a pair of slip on safety toe about two years ago and now I'm hooked Have a pair of squared toed slip ons now great boots! I can wear out a pair of boots but artists are tough and comfy. Guy at the shoe store said six months to a year is about average for a pair of work boots, but for me six months was tops on any other brand but ariats last me about a year I put them through water mud dust gravel and they are great! Very satisfied!
