How you got started in your event: I always loved the Western lifestyle and outdoor activities. I worked at a cattle sales yard. As a young girl my dad took me to the National Finals Rodeo, and when I watched the beautiful horses and talented riders I was hooked on rodeo, roping, and barrel racing.
Length of time you’ve been sponsored by Ariat: 17 – 18 Years, or the number of years Ariat has been in business. I wore the original lace-ups!
Favorite Ariat product (by name): Women’s Legend boot in exotic leather, Ostrich or Caiman. Prefer black, like the natural sole and heel.
Proudest career moment: Qualifying for my second National Finals Rodeo!
Tell us about your first horse: The first horse I actually owned carried me to an Intercollegiate World’s Championship. His name was Uncle. The first horse I trained myself was Seven, and he carried me to three National Finals Rodeo Qualifications.
If you weren’t a professional rider, you would be a: Sports Broadcaster.
Favorite place to travel: Italy, Spain, United States, anywhere – I am always packed and ready to go!
Name one fun fact that people don’t know about you: I love cruising anywhere in the world!
Favorite way to unwind outside of the barn: Going out to the movies.
