How you got started in your event: My father – he roped calves and made the NFR several times. I always wanted to be like him, so he got me started and still is one of my biggest supporters.

Tell us about your first horse: His name was Aire and I got him when I was 10 years-old and he was two. He was a brown gelding that stood 14.2 hands tall. He was an awesome horse because he scored outstanding and always gave me lots of opportunities to win. Our last rodeo together was the 2009 Wilderness Circuit Finals.
You ride because: It’s something I really enjoy, and not everyone gets paid to do their hobby.
If you weren’t a professional rider, you would be a: Probably something in the cattle business.
Favorite mentor or idol growing up: My father, Jack.
Favorite place to travel: The Northwest.
Name one fun fact that people don’t know about you: I like to watch animated movies -especially with my son, Krew, and my nieces and nephews.
Favorite way to unwind outside of the barn: Spend time with my family, play basketball, and fishing.
