How you got started in your event: As a junior I had more opportunities to catch-ride hunters than jumpers, so I have always focused more on the hunters although I love the jumpers.

Tell us about your first horse: Rio Oso Sugar and Spice, my first pony lived in our backyard. We thought she was really out of shape, but it turned out she was pregnant so three weeks later we had two ponies.
You ride because: I love horses and every part of being around them

Favorite mentor or idol growing up: My mother. She always convinced me if there is a will, there is a way
