How you got started in your event: I grew up in the rodeo-ranch world and have always wanted to be a bull rider. It’s a dream come true.

Proudest career moment: Winning Glendale in 2009. I rode Troubadour for 94 points.

Tell us about your first horse: He was a two year-old blue roan colt that my dad bought me for my birthday. His name was Little Joe. It seems it was so long ago, but the lady who bought him still has him, and I see him on my way home everyday out in a pasture.

You ride because: The passion and occupation.

If you weren’t a professional rider, you would be a: A salesperson. I can sell glasses to a blind man.

Favorite mentor or idol growing up: Chris Shivers

Favorite place to travel: Bahamas

Name one fun fact that people don’t know about you: I do actually know how to work. Everyone thinks I am lazy because of my occupation!

Favorite way to unwind outside of the barn: Golfing
