How you got started in your event: My parents roped and produced ropings.

Tell us about your first horse: My first horse was a white Shetland pony named Cotton. Cotton didn’t know about team roping until he became a member of our family. I learned to rope off Cotton with a breakaway rope and a slow Mexican steer!

You ride because: That’s what my family does, and it pays $.

If you weren’t a professional rider, you would be a: NBA Basketball player.

Favorite mentor or idol growing up: Allen Bach

Favorite place to travel: Wherever the roping is.

Name one fun fact that people don’t know about you: I like to play the drums.
