How you got started in your event: I always loved the Western lifestyle and outdoor activities. I worked at a cattle sales yard. As a young girl my dad took me to the National Finals Rodeo, and when I watched the beautiful horses and talented riders I was hooked on rodeo, roping, and barrel racing.

Favorite Ariat Product: Women’s Legend boot in exotic leather, Ostrich or Caiman. Prefer black, like the natural sole and heel.

Proudest career moment: Qualifying for my second National Finals Rodeo!

Tell us about your first horse:The first horse I actually owned carried me to an Intercollegiate World’s Championship. His name was Uncle. The first horse I trained myself was Seven, and he carried me to three National Finals Rodeo Qualifications.
