How you got started in your event: : I was lucky enough to know people who had fancy horses and wanted me to ride them. I had my own horse and people liked the way I rode, so people started asking me to show their horses.

Favorite Ariat product (by name): The Crowne Pro Tall Boots

Proudest career moment: 2007 Grand Hunter Champion at Washington International Horse Show with John French.

Tell us about your first horse: : My first horse was a chestnut mare Quarter Horse. The very first time I rode her she ran away with me, but I was scared to tell my parents that she did. So I told them that I loved her because they had finally decided to buy me one, and I was afraid if I told them what had really happened they would not let me have a horse. Her name was Harmony. She taught me a lot.

You ride because: I love it!

If you weren’t a professional rider, you would be a: Trainer at Sea World.

Favorite mentor or idol growing up: Rodney Jenkins

Favorite place to travel: Germany to look for horses.

Name one fun fact that people don’t know about you: When I get to a show and use a particular port-a-john or stall in a bathroom I can only use that same one the entire show… for good luck of course.

Favorite way to unwind outside the barn: Play with my dogs. I have three French bulldogs and a Corgi

Good luck charm: This is kind of a joke, but I have to say it because we joke about it all the time. It is my husband!
