Im a runner with normal size calves and unfortunately it was a struggle to get the zipper up the first time, but since then I've been able to get them on fairly easy. They are really comfortable and look SO good on. I only wish the shaft of the boot fit better. Melinda Sierra Nevadas	5 Comfortable, high-quality, durable and "so hot"! 01/08/13 I have twice sustained major breaks in my left leg and patella, so I absolutely have to wear high-quality, comfortable boots and shoes. These are by far the most comfortable, best quality construction cowgirl boots I have ever owned, and they are a fantastic value. The fit is perfect all the way around (I wear a 7-1/2 B), and the shaft height is just right (I am 5'7" and wear a 32" inseam). I receive compliments on these boots every time I wear them to town from both men and women, the most frequent comment being that they are "so hot!" and the ladies in my family envy my beautiful boots. This is my first pair of Ariat boots and I am now a committed Ariat customer, due mostly -- I believe -- to the ATS (Advanced Torque Stability) support system. I have no doubt that with proper care these boots will last many years. My only complaint is that these boots are not made in the USA. This is usually a deal-breaker for me and I almost did not buy them because of it, but I'm glad that I did. The tall height is great but I fold them down sometimes too - I am 5'10" with long skinny legs and they are great to wear with skirts, leggings, jeans, anything. Ariat, please remember there are short girls who want boots like this too!!! And when you make them, please let me know! I bought a 7.5 (my normal shoe size) and they felt perfect! Man! So bummed they didn't work for me and so jealous of all you top models who are rockin these sassy boots!
