The blue embroidery pops on the blue, these boots do have a little higher heel then most boots. You will not regret buying these. I don't! Cheyanna	3 Love Fit, Fake Heel 10/17/12 I love Ariats and buy them religiously for their great fit and high quality. I bought two colors of these and love them too, but was disappointed with the heel of both. The fake wood covering scratched off within one week of wearing one pair and scrunched up in the heat while wearing another pair. Love the fit, love the style, but hate the tacky look of the heels after only a few months. Extremely comfortable (and I can't wear heals at all) to walk in. Warning they are a bit on the narrow side. I bought the Caramel color and its a gorgeous deep mahogany red, just as I'd hoped for! Tiffany	5 Love Love Love these boots! 08/27/11 I have these in both colors and I absolutely love them. These were the first western boots I have ever owned and I couldn't be any more in love. They are super comfy and they go with just about anything. I even wear mine to the office with dress slacks. These are by far the best boots I have owned. I got the brown ones at a local western wear store but loved them so much I ordered the black ones two weeks later much to my husbands dismay. Buy these boots if you are on the fence, you won't be disappointed.
