Beautiful Boot But Large I fell in love with these boots online so I went to my local store and ordered them, they took an enormously long time to arrive, 4 weeks! Sheesh, I am normally a 7 1/2 and I ordered a 7 but when I got them they were still a bit long? I contemplated taking them back? The heels when not done up tight and all the way slip, I do have extrememly tiny ankles and heels so maybe it's just the size of my foot. I feel like though a 6 1/2 will be too tight everywhere else, I did read that they make the toes longer then normal so for easy stirrup pick up which makes sense but not sure if that was the intention or if it was just a wierdly designed shoe? Because of the time it took to come in i don't think I will exchange otherwise it will be another 4 weeks or so to get that size and then if its too small....... Ne ways I'll live with it but they are beautiful. The leather does scratch easily but thats what adds the original look later on, I have the brown leather ones. They are comfy and a bit stiff right now, but the leather is nicer and seems more durable then the english paddock boots I've tried on. Not Quite Right Boots The first time I put on Ariat boots, I bought them and have been wearing them for riding ever since that first purchase. I decided to try something new and bought western style boots. They were well built and attractive but the toe was much longer than my toes. The toe box was slightly more narrow than I was used to but the actual length of the toe area in the boot was too long and too awkward to deal with so I sent them back and got some English paddock boots. MY FAV BOOTS I HAVE HAD 3) PAIR OF THESE BOOTS, LOVED THEM ALL. JUST NEEDED WIDER SIZE SO I ORDERED A "C" WIDTH. THEY FIT LIKE A "B" WIDTH, WHICH ARE TOO NARROW. Good for light work and riding I got a pair of these boots for Christmas two years ago and wore them for a year before they started falling apart. Some of it was my fault - not oiling them regularly - but the leather did start to crack and by the 14 month mark I had holes in both boots. Love 'em! Hi. It has been 10 years since I bought my first Ariat "Lacer" boots, so it was time to get another pair. These boots are beautiful! they fit just like the old ones, but have a couple of new improvements - The loop on the back of the boot to make it easier to pull up and I love the reinforced sides for ankle support. The color is beautiful as well. I love my old ones and I will not retire them completely, but these are going to be favorites! Ariat Heritage Lacers Well, I haven't worn them yet because it's been raining and I don't want them to get all muddy! I'm saving them for sunny trail ride days!!!!! Can't wait to try them out. Heritage Lacer Boots I have been buying Ariat lace-ups for 25 years and this pair is just as hardy as the others - probably even more so. They were a little harder to break in but it's now a week later, and I wear them all day. My only wish is that you still carried the Ariats made of the soft leather - they were my favorite and I can't find them anymore - anywhere! Fabulous once broken in! These are my 4th pair of Ariats, and of the 3 that fit, these took the longest to break in, but after a couple of weeks they fit great. I still wear socks that come up above the top of the boot to protect my shins, but the boots feel comfortable for walking, working in a barn, and for riding. After hours of walking and riding in them, my feet do not feel tired. Nice boot! I usually wear an 8AA but so took the advice in the reviews and ordered half a size down 7.5B paired them with medium thickness Smartwool Hiking socks and voila! Perfect Fit! Happy feet I had owned Ariat lacer many years ago and had replaced with another product. Very happy to have a pair again. I usually wear a 6.5/7 shoe, ordered a 6.5 because of running large comments... correct. Have to wonder if I had been in a store to try on if the 6 would not have been fine but this will work for both summer and winter. I LOVE THESE! Ariat is the best boot company out there. They nailed it with this pair! I dress mine up and down, and they are extremely comfortable. These boots take a while to break in because the leather in the back is stiff, but once all is said and done you won't take them off of your feet. Great lacers Bought a pair in 7 1/2 b/c that is my normal size. They run big. But I kept them, and wore them all winter, with fat socks and the toe warmers. They are my winter pair. I just bought a pair of 7's and will wear them to work today. They wear like iron, I will have them for years, b/c I've bought these boots before, years ago, for hunt testing and retriever training. GREAT ALL ROUND BOOTS! Bought these boots about 12 to 14 years ago. Have rode horses, dug holes, put up fencing, and worked in the mud with these boots, then cleaned them and conditioned them, and worn them to the Rodeo. BEST FIT, and most comfortable Walking boot around. True to Fit. You will love them.

Great boot I bought a similar style back in 1997 to go on a week long horse back ride up in the White Mountains. Absolutely wonderful boot. Have worn them in the winters for the next 14 years, had new heels put on once. Though the toes are a little scuffed up, the uppers never gave in. Sadly, my foot, I guess because of age, has gotten bigger, and I have to let them go. I hope a new pair will hold up as long and be as comfortable. But you won't be disappointed. They are easily cleaned (if done properly), the care of these boots is simplified with the least bit of effort, a little soap and water and brush. Great Boots I have a really high arch and weak ankles - these boots fit PERFECT! I LOVE them. I don't wear any other shoes! Only problem is that the tongue on one of the boots likes to slide to the side and it rubs a bit on my shin :( But I love them so much otherwise it really doesn't bug me - wear taller socks! First Pair This is my first pair of Ariats. So far so good. They fit like a glove and I can not wait to get them broken in! When choosing a size, you might want to go down a half size, as they do run big. They look great and feel great!

Great Boots I have the first version of this boot and love them. The only thing is I didn't clean and condition them enough, especially after they got wet so they don't look as nice but five years later I am still wearing them. Best part is it doesn't matter whether I decide to ride english or western, the sole is perfect for either.

I love my Ariats!!! These are the most comfortable boots ever! Even though I only wear a 6.5, my high instep won't allow me to get into Justins. I was upset until I found Ariat; I have two pair and am getting ready to buy another so I have a dressy pair. I love my Ariats!!!

Heritage Lacer Better quality and more comfort than any fashion boot on the market for much less money. I looked at the fashion knock offs but they just seemed cheap and were twice as much. These are the real deal. I bought them to wear to NYC with skinny jeans and trousers but, will wear them for utility too. Only issue is that I am still waiting for Ariat to come out with a 10.5 in their boots. I have several pairs and the 10's I have to wear with thin socks and 11's I have to put an insole under the footbed to make up the extra 1/2 size. These do run big. The toe is designed extra long also for easy stirrup pick up so they don't do you any favors making your feet look any smaller. Still a very cool boot.

Heritage Boot I love my Heritage lacers. I have had them for about 6 or 7 years and wear them for dress-and going to and from work in the winter. They are very comfortable and keep my feet warm. I have an even older pair of brown lacers that I still wear, they last like iron.
