Turquoise Blackened A
Turquoise Blackened A
High-contrast detail and a crinkle finish give the Turquoise Blackened A jeans added dimension. They get their name for the edgy lurex embroidery on the top entry back flap pocket. The dark-wash denim is infused with a touch of poly and spandex and then hand-sanded and whiskered for a velvet soft feel and fit that won't quit. Tailored with a mid-rise waist and boot cut legs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alexandra21 from Stylish, but inseam too short I ordered two pairs of Ariat jeans, the REAL Spitfire and the Blackened A. I normally wear a regular inseam, and they fit just fine in the Spitfire, but the Blackened A was too short. I love the style, so I'll keep this pair to work around the house and order the long inseam for everyday wear. Just a bit surprised at how two pairs of jeans from the same company can have such wildly differing inseams. The quality of the denim, and their wearability, is uncompromised. Not sorry I bought it, just a bit sorry I didn't keep the receipt so I could return. I didn't notice the issue until after I had washed the jeans the first time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Keli07 from Love the Fit! I just bought these jeans as my first pair of Ariat jeans, and was a little nervous about how they would fit. I've read reviews on here that Ariats tend to fit a little big, and I'm transitioning between a regular size 8 jeans which would be a 28" waist in Ariat to a size 6 which is a 26" waist, so to be on the safe side I decided to order a 27" Regular in this style. I can tell you that the fit is great! These jeans stretch a little, so it fits snug around my thighs, butt, and tummy. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the fact that the regular is very long on me. I definitely can't normally wear a short, because it will look like I'm wearing high-waters. Long is way too long for me, so I'm usually good as a regular. But, when I put these jeans on with bare feet the jeans were about 3" longer than the bottom of my feet. For now I'm not terribly worried about it, because my boots will give me a little height when I wear them with these jeans, and I don't know if these jeans will shrink up in the washer and dryer a few times, but my boots aren't high heels, and if they don't shrink at all than I'm going to tear up the bottom of these jeans by walking on them. If they don't shrink than any other jeans I buy from Ariat online will probably be a short, even though I'm not usually a short. Other than that I'm really excited about these jeans. They're soft, comfortable, and the mid-rise waist hides my mommy tummy enough to make me look like I didn't have 3 kids. ;)
