Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! A wide boot! I love these boots! I have wide feet and struggle to find shoes that fit, especially riding boots. I've had these bootssince March and theyfitgreat!Theyare very comfortablearound the barn andin the saddle. In fact, I even wear them hiking because they don't give me any blisters. The only "downside" is that I need to buy another pair to wear around other people who might not appreciate the slight aroma of manure. I hope Ariat keeps offering and growing their selection of wide boots. So few companies offer them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could not be happier In "normal" riding boots I am so uncomfortable. I need a wider toe box, can't EVER wear anything pointy. Christiansen'sSaddlery inLoomis, CA,suggestedI try on these books. They'reneartheTevis trail and have a lot of great endurance riding gear. While I'm not an endurance rider, I loved these boots from the moment I put them on, bought them on the spot and wore them home. I own two pairs, now. They're what I wear every day for riding, working at the barn, walking the dogs ... you name it. They're just about as comfortable, supportive and durable as they can be -- and they're a great schooling boot, too! Now, Ariat ... if you'd just offer show boot options for those of us who can't abide pointy shoes. I'd buy paddock boots AND tall boots, if I could!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love 'Em I have 4 pairs of Ariats. I have a very old pair of paddock boots and a pair of low shoes/boots. My husband bought apair of the waterproof terrains and loved them. I'vehad knee replacement andhavenow beentoldthat I have arthiritis in my left foot and need to wear really good shoes with a great arch support. First, I bought the non waterproof terrains from Tractor Supply in Warrenton, Virgina. They were so comfortable, but I work with animals all the time so I needed a pair of waterproof, tough and support footwear. My husband liked his so well, so I said "Why not!" I love them. No breakin time required. They feel great out of the box, and they look great, too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Work Boot I work on a horse farm and wear these boots at least 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. My feet and back are never sore after a day of work. Ihave gone through3 pairs of theregular terrains and finallytrieda pair of H2O. The regular boots only lasted 2-3 months, and I finally blew out this pair at 5 months. My only complaint is that the leather seperates from the rubber and continues to rip. The rubber on the heel also shreds pretty quickly from the horses stepping on them all day. I wish I could get more months out of these boots before they finally give out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best boots ever!!! I have had these boots for over 2 years now, and I wear them everywhere!! You can ride in them ( I usually ride bareback in them, because Idon't like ridingin mytall bootsbecause I find I pokemy horse alotwheni'm riding bareback... hahaha), but I also use them for working (cleaning stalls, moving horses, etc.) and also at tradeshows, events, and just everywhere. I swear you could stand in a puddle up to the laces for 5 hours and not get a single drop on you! I would recommend these boots to everyone in the entire world! They are soo worth the price, and not even that highly priced for work boots these days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Close to Perfect! I was looking for something like a combination riding and hiking boot for extreme long-distance and back-country ridingand walking. These bootarelookcute, are super comfy, and are great in thesaddle. But, walkingmy horse from the ground I was slipping and sliding on any terrain other than flat pavement. With no traction on the bottom, they just don't work like hiking boots on rocks, loose soil, or hills. Nevertheless, I really them and will definitely keep using them for trail riding!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ripped at seam after 1 year I absolutely love the comfort and style of these boots. I can wear them for hours and my feet never hurt. However, I bought them just abouta yearago, andthey have rippedat the inside seam on one boot. Iam in noway hard on my boots, so this is very disappointing considering how expensive they are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Ariat Shoe!! Over 8 years ago, I bought a pair of Ariat clogs. I wore them a LOT and they're still in great shape. I recently got this pair, knowing they'd lastforever.Right out of thebox, they're very comfortable. Theconstruction is solid and they feel wonderful. I have wide feet and the medium width fits me well. I got a larger size to accomodate thick socks, but I'd say the fit is pretty true to size. I haven't worn them in severe weather yet, but I know they'll keep my feet warm, dry and comfortable. I've already worm them hiking and they were super-comfy! Thanks for making such great shoes!
