Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent These boots provide top-notch comfort and support with a very subtle cushiness in the insole. My feet never seem to getoverly hot or cold in these. They'resturdyas the dayislong with very durable, thickleather--I expect they'll last years. Easy to get on and off. They look practical and unassuming, but still have a stylish cut and a few light details. I get them dirty and wet in the stable, but they clean up nice. Wonderful for hard work and riding, but look and feel fine as everyday boots. Had to get a half size larger than I ever normally wear, but that's okay since they're hands-down my favorite piece of riding apparel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Sure I bought these as a christmas gift for my daughter who has the exact same boots that I bought her 3 years ago and theyfinally gave up aftereveryday wear. The newboots lookpoorly made but I am waitingtillafter Christmas to return them as I want her to have them to open, looks like stitching is loose near instep and has a few significant scrapes already on them straight out of the box. (this is not part of the distressed look)Not satisfied at all... LOVED THIS BOOT BUT based on this pair will not buy another pair. Hopefully can return after Christmas, Did not want to give these to her but knew I could not get another pair shippped before the holidays..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots available I have owned all of the major brands of boots, Tony Lama, Nocona, Lucchese, Justin, and others less known. None are ascomfortable from DayOneand durableover the yearsasAriat. After I boughtthe firstpairof Ariats, I threw the others away, truly (six pairs of nearly new new Noconas). Presently, I have 8 pairs of Ariat and 4 pairs of Luccheses. I only wear the Luccheses to get my money out of them; when the soles on the Luccheses wear out, I won't have them re-soled. I drive trucks and ride horses and Ariats are the best. I even wear Ariats when I am wearing a suit. I will also mention that i have never had a flaw in an Ariat, and I have owned 25-30 pairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heritage Roper - No Achilles Heal Pain! I have been riding in an Ariat paddock boot for last few years, which I very much love. Soft as butter - most comfortable shoe ever. Withinthelast year,Ihave developedan Achilles Heal and after riding for several hours "heals down!" - am very very sore - into the night and next morning and sometimes much longer. Surgery is not an option due to a very long recovery time. Giving up riding is also not an option. I have just come to terms with expecting the pain post ride. I just purchased the Heritage Roper. I used them for the first time last weekend --a 2-1/2 hour ride on Saturday and then a 3 hour ride on Sunday. No issues at all, Comfortable day one. Here is another unexpected surprise. I wasn't suffering the achilles heal pain post ride! I am stoked!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable When these boots arrived, I put half a dozen band-aids into my wallet, donned the boots, and went out for the evening.Six months later, the band-aidsarestill inmy wallet. These boots felt great from dayoneandhave never caused a blister or sore spot. I can wear them to work, to play, and even to help friends move. They're especially nice to travel in, since they're lightweight and slip off easily for TSA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it so much, I got a second pair! I really am happy with the quality and fit! I have wide feet, and these are as comfy as slippers ! Having undergone several foot surgeries,I needsomethingthat fits rightoffthe shelf, and these fitthe bill!I went up a half size for the best fit. [I DO wish smaller sizes came wider, but these work well for me.] I swear the soles never wear out - my leather died an early death due to how rough I wear them and blackberry vines! This is my second pair, and I hope you never stop carrying them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! I purchased a pair of the timber ropers 7 years ago and had them for 3 years. I wore them riding, mucking stalls, and everyday wear. I finally hadto purchaseanother pairwhen the leather got cutwhileI wasrepairing fence in the creek. I had been in the creek for over 2 hours and my feet had never gotten wet until a piece of buried metal sliced through the leather. I had never waterproofed them either. I bought another black pair to wear when I went out and showed, but started using them for everyday wear. Between these and my ariat loafers, I am set for everyday of the week. I wear a pair of the probabies when I go out now. Will never buy another brand. The ariats have lasted through all the torture I put them through!
