Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only boots I'll wear I was reading the reviews on these boots and just had to add my 2 cents. I've had 4 pair of the crepe soles now and wouldn't wear any otherbrand/style(noteven handmade)!I prefer them over anyothertypeof footwear. I've abused them and they still clean up nicely to wear to the office and dance-hall. These boots seem to have no break in period. They are so very comfortable from day one. Like walking on a cushion all day! I can't say one bad thing about them. The couple of bad comments I read have to be folks with other problems (like stinky feet)!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heritage Crepe brings Comfort to my "Soul"...sole. Seven days into wearing the Heritage Crepes daily and I could not be more happy with the fit, comfort, and durability.  Not to mention they look great.  As a businessman in the Outdoor Industry I needed a pair of boots that looked good for meetings, yet provided me a more rugged outdoor feel.  The Heritage Crepes do that for me.  I can always count on Ariat to provide me a boot I can wear from the Factory to the Field and the Board Room to the Blind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Boot I bought these boots several years ago to wear as an everday boot, working around the house and semi-casual wear. Before purchasing the boots Iwore them around the storefor some time to be surethey fit.I felt like the boots fit as most boots need a break-in period to conform to your foot. The more i wore the boots at home the larger they got. I have replaced the insole several times now, going thicker and thicker. The boot is very stiff and wears like a "ski boot!" I have worn these boots maybe 5-6 times and they wear so bad I have thrown them in the closet, Can't give them away. So far this is the worst pair of boots I have ever had and I will never purchase another of this style and brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pair I've Ever Had Bought these back in 2009 and they're still amazing now almost 4 years later. They took less than a week to break in so I could actually enjoywearing themimmediately. What's nice about these is they aren't too loud, slippery, or industrial so I can wear them to almost any event whether it be semi-formal banquets, horse shows, or working outside. The only con I noticed is they are starting to stretch out just a little....but after 4 years that's kind of expected. AMAZING BOOTS

Rated 4 out of 5 by from crepe sole boots Howdy, Been wearing Ariat since they first came out.Rewrote the book on western boots.Developed a foot issue over the years, the crepe sole solved the problem.Had tosettlefor the switchback for hard work. They don't last long, more suited for recreation.the sole on them loads up with too much crap.Going to give these crepes a try.Have two pair to off the rack until the last pair.I'm Webster on boots boys, can't stand the square toe.Like to meet the muttonhead that came up with that.Hell to find the sturrup I bet.Do you take custom orders?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy! I bought these boots for my son for his birthday. I was a little nervous buying them online without him first trying them on. He insistedthatthese werethe boots he wanted.I went ahead and got thempreparing myself for a return trip to the post office. I am thrilled that the boots fit perfect and he said they immediately felt very comfortable and didn't have to be broken in at all. They look great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boot ever!! Been wearing this style of crepe for the last 8 years, they have been the most comfortable boot i have ever put on. I can wear them everyday all day! I own a pair for dress and when they start getting to bad to clean up I rotate them out to work in. I really don't know how they even sell the other types of boot soles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Okay, but overpriced, made of quality materials compared to other popular brands. These Ariat's stink after a day of being worn. These are very comfortable boots and feel good on my feet and are probably the most comfortable of my 18 pair of bootsthat I own. I think the quality of these materials areof inferior grade because they "stink"as Itry to aire them out after a day of wearing them. Of my 18 pair of boots and 26 pair of dress shoes as well as a composite pair of dress shoes, these are the only ones that "stink" after I wear them. My other boots are common popular brand names you would recognize as well as the "high end" hand made boots that are very pricy. On these Ariat's, I take the inserts out so they will aire out, but the stench remains. I suppose I'll have to invest in foot powder if I want to get my money's worth out of these boots. I'll probably not buy another pair of Ariat's as I'd use that money to go toward a higher quality material boot. So, I don't wear the Ariat's very often.
