Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Entry Level Boots I actually bought these a few years ago when they first came out. They were my 18th birthday present to myself. I wore them all the time, andeverywhere. In thethree years I've had them, they've beento Alaska, Canada, and all across the USA on tours. While not advertized as waterproof, they still held their own very well in the rain and snow. They are extremely comfortable and the ATS system relieved much of my back pain. I'd highly recommend them. With heavy use, I was able to get about a year and a half out of the original insole and heel. Had them resoled and then got about another year of heavy use out of them. About zero break-in time too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No buyer's remorse here! The shoes came out of the box with a look as anticipated from the picture. They required vitrually no "break in" time, and by the third hourofwearingthemIfeltgreat. I've had them for less than a week and have recieved many comments. My only negative note is that these boots are not made for long distance walking, I walked to and from a football game from downtown and my dogs were aching.I would like to note that, as other comments have mentioned, I went a full size smaller and my foot still has plenty of room. I'm a 14 and am very comfortably wearing a 13 D. Thanks Ariat for this great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stop reading...Start buying!!! Growing up I wore boots all the time. During college years I just sort of fell out of wearing them. Enter my lovely country, horse lovin'andriding wifeand 'bam!' I'm wearingmy first pair of boots in over 20years. These things feel better than any tennis shoe ever did and they have a lot more functionality. I can wear them at the barn and then clean them up and wear them out with no problem. From some of the other posts, they do tend to run small BUT only in comparison to tennis shoes. I usually wear anywhere from a 10.5 to 11 and I bought the size 10 Rambler and couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boot For the Flat Foot I have pancake flat foot and these are the only comfortable well fitting slip on boot I have found. I have tried everything and my lack ofan archcauses myfoot to slideover the soles and "hang"off the soles.Lucchese makes the prettiest boot and if you have an arch possibly one of the most comfortable for walking around but Ariat makes the best working/equine enthusiast/real cowboy rancher boot . Now boots are worn for style more than the practical purposes they were intended for but if you want a quality well fitting, tough comfortable, stays on your foot snug boot go Ariat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful, Comfortable, Stylish I wanted a pair of boots that looked good with a pair of jeans. I also wanted a pair of boots that I could trudge through the mud with, getwet, and overallnot worry about. So, that ruled out afancypairof dressboots (which is really not my style). I found the Ariat site and spent a while looking around and kept coming back to the Rambler.I've had them for about a year now and love them. I've received several compliments on their looks and where I live, cowboy boots are the exception, not the rule. Anyway, tough, durable, yet stylish and easy to wear. What more could you ask for?I wear an 11 and bought these in 11. A little heel slippage at first, but after wearing for a while, they fit great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent boots Let me start off by saying I do not wear cowboy boots and I have never wanted to. However, my girlfriend recently founda pic of the Ariat Ramblersonline andI thought theydidn't look too bad. Iread that theyfit alittle on the large side so I found a nearby retailer and decided to try a pair on. I figured I could tell her they were uncomfortable and that would be the end of it. Wow, was I ever wrong. These boots were some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Period. So I buy the boots, get them home and put them on and the more I wear them the more I love them. I wear Rocky's for work and even though they are comfortable I find myself longing for my work shift to end so I can get home and put these on. I will definitely be buying more Ariats!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Female with Large Feet/Calves By no means am I a "fat" girl, but I definitely got my Dad's build in the calf department. I found that many women's boots did not fit well, they eitherscrunch atthe baseof mycalf or they won'tevengo all the wayon. I wear a women's size 10 in tennis shoes. Haven't had boots since i was little really. I just bought a men's size 8D in this boot and generally I wear a men's size 8.5/9 for tennis shoes. The heel does fit a bit large, but a slightly thicker pair of socks (think hiking boot socks) and I'm good to go. Super comfy. And the girls and guys say they don't look too masculine for a woman to wear. They are super comfy and I'm enjoying the heck out of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great First Boot!! These were my first pair of "cowboy" boots and I was hesitant on how they would look and feel. After many of my coworkers and friends that had these same pairtoldme theywere the most comfortableshoestheyown, I finally gave in! It was so worth it! they were a little stiff at first but after about a week of breaking them in every day they really turned out great! I never would imagine a pair of boots being this comfortable! I can barely tell I have them on! (but of course i do!) They are completely worth every penny!! If your considering, just do it!!
