Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Comfortable!!! I have looked for many years for a comfortable boot for riding my horses and walking around caring for them. These boots are the answer. My riding partnerlet metry her'soneday when my horse stompedmy foot(while wearing tennis shoes) and I immediately ordered myself a pair. They are the most comfortable, supportive boot I've ever ridden in. Plenty of room for my wide foot, My feet and toes don't go numb from pressure anymore. They are great for walking around in. My feet don't hurt like they did in my cowgirl boots. I'm going to order another pair in Black asap. I highly recommend the Terrain for whatever you're doing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TOO Hot! Very disappointed I walk miles and miles on concrete and hoped I could wear these year round. I spoke to customer support and was told these would be perfectandwould evenhelp myfeet andalignment issues. I tested them out ona couple of 57 degree days and my feet were extremely hot. I tried the thinnest socks I could find and my feet were still hot and the top of my toe was on it's way to a blister. Also, it hasn't helped my knee issues at all. Lastly, these have full grain leather and a Cordura nylon upper -- whatever that means, but they feel like pleather. Customer service was very nice, but these boots aren't for me. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for hiking I have been wearing Ariat Terrain boots for several years. I try to walk at least an hour a day, five days a week, andthese boots give incrediblecomfort andsupport! Theyalsowork well with my high arches.I had aflaw in one boot a few years ago and Ariat graciously replaced the boots even though they showed significant wear. The only negative to me is that they have shortened the shoelaces too much on my new pair. Traditionally the laces have been too long, but now they have made them too short to tie easily. I love the Taupe color and get lots of compliments on it. I also bought the same boots in waterproof (different color) and those are great for muddy days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These boots can do it all I bought these boots originally to wear while sidewalking with riders at a therapeutic riding facility. They were perfect for handling all of thosewalkingmiles and even allowedme to easily hop in thesaddle toworka horse. Next, my Terrains were my obvious choice to wear when volunteering at the 2010 World Equestrian Games where I knew I would be standing in the dressage arena all day long. And now, in a week and a half, my boots will make the trip to Machu Picchu where they will get a taste of the Andes mountains- I have no doubt they will feel great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Storage/Pipeline Field Leader I absolutely loves these, couldn't wait for them to arrive. I have a couple of pair in brown! I have been looking forblack and here they were. Now Ineedanotherpair tokeepon the shelf! I usuallyalways have anew pair of brown, just in case I haven't had time to polish the pair I'm wearing. Being non-traditional in the line of work I do, I like my boots to match the tops I wear, my husband has to laugh! I have gotten a few of the other females that work out doors that now wear the same brand, they love them as well. Don't ever quit making them, at least not until I retire! Excellent womens foot wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for EMS I work in EMS so I am constantly on my feet. I do lots of lifting in all kinds of weather. When I put on these boots right after wearing mine all day Inoticed an extreme difference. These boots are so much lighter. It felt amazing. They are also great be because I do not have much of an arch so I have no pain. I will be buying these boots from now on. If you wear a half size and a full size depending on the brand I would go with the smaller size. I can wear a 6.5 or 7 depending on brand I went with the 6.5 awesome fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ariat Terrain I had a very old pair of these boots that I LOVED. The replacement pair from a few years ago were good, but much heavier, bulkier. Still, verygood, comfortable.Definitely protected your feet from injurywhenoutwalking. The newest ones (post Hurricane Sandy - no one would want to wear any shoes, boots or sneakers after that disgusting mess!) need to go back. They are long enough but narrow across the toe box. Boo. I literally have one pair of sneakers at the moment. I was counting on these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ride, Walk, Wonderful! I've had four pairs of these now - wore the first two pairs out completely (although it took a couple of years). I keep one pair for good, anduseonepairfor mucking, muddy riding days, and general chores. They have great traction, I can walk/stand all day in them if I need to, and they transition right into the saddle, no problem. I wear them with half-chaps for English lessons, and with jeans for working cows. All of them have been waterproof until the seams wear out, and they clean up well, too. Definitely worth the price. (I just wish they still came in dark grey/charcoal!)
