Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a Boot Wearer I by no means am a boot wearer. But I thought I would get a pair just to see if I could stand them. The store where I bought them recommended these to me as being a very comfortable pair. I trust them and followed their recommendations, and I must say I am so very glad I did. They were a bit uncomfortable the first day, but the second day they were absolutely great. I have a wide foot and the fit is excellent. The clean-up is easy and the boot retains an almost new look which comes out after each cleaning. I haven't seen any indication of breakdown as others have shared and I don't anticipate it. My boys (teens) wear Ariat and have had great success and I am looking forward to the same.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wow! Worst boot I've ever worn worn. Well thats what I thought the first day I wore them. The second day when I put them on I was thinking whata mistake... Bythe endof thatday Iwas quickly changing mymind. Now I love them! I've got my co-workers geting ready to order some. These boots rock once they break in. Don't be afraid of them feeling like you want to throw them in a wood chipper the first day. Cause it's worth the pain once they conform to your feet. I just wish that the toe had some protection on the outside. I'm sure I'm going to wear right through the leather before the year is over/

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My least favorite pair of boots. I have several pairs of Ariat boots and these are my least favorite. The break in period was terrible. I've never had a pair of boots give me so many blisters and ruin so many pair of socks. The piece of the heel in one of the boots split from the leather and cut my heal; I had to cut that piece out. To their credit, they are very water proof. If your feet sweat like mine do, I definitely do not recommend these boots. After about 4 hours, it feels like I'm walking in a swamp in these boots. I'd only recommend these boots if you work out in cold weather and in the snow. I've had my pair for 2 years. They hold up well, but I'm finally giving up on these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insane Boots I got these boots maybe 4 months ago. the first day was a little rough, but after that the boot just got nore and more comfortable. we have a horse barn and the composite toe has saved me some pain. ive been stepped on stood on and ran over and they still havent killed me yet. the outside leather has cuts and scrathes and dings but are hardly noticble after some cleaning. the soles have been amazing and the wear is no less than amazing. only boots ill ever buy again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks good...but Looks aren't everything! I have had these boots for 4 months. Last week the leather patch on the heel ripped and wore aterrible blister inmy heel. That wasthe straw thatbrokethe camel's back! The soles are worn down badly and the layers of the rubber are beginning to separate. I guess it's back to the $50 Wal-mart boots and some good insoles...they last about the same length of time and I'd rather spend $50 every 4 months instead of $150.
